The MonoKEY System

Monokey cases are double skinned for extra rigidity and strength and are suitable for use at the high speeds attainable on a motorcycle.

The MonoKEY system gets it's name from the fact that the same key is used to either open the case, or to unlock the case from the bike.

Turning the key allows the lid to be opened.

To remove the case from the bike, the key is turned and a button is pressed to release the case from the MonoKEY plate.

When the key is in the locked position, the lid may not be opened and the case may not be removed from the bike.

The picture shows the automatic connector which connects the optional stop light (where available) to the bike's electrics.

The picture also shows the connection points with a Monokey Plate, which are different to those on a MonoLOCK Plate.
